Nowadays, expressions are more apparent online than in real life – through status updates, emoji, and messenger stickers. More so in the Philippines, where social media is part of daily life.

To increase their sales in the Philippines, Tic Tac taps on the popularity of emoticons and came out with a new packaging that speaks to its audience. The result is a range of emoticons printed across its T200 Tic Tac pack. Each pack comes with a unique code to an online lucky draw and Tic Tac Express Yourself is a digital activation that engages the audience with an inviting contest experience never done before – a contest registration using the most intuitive interface known to modern man; the chat window.

Through the campaign, the market can also know more about our new Tic Tac T200 pack through the use of “expressions” while enjoying a different kind of contest registration.

We have also built in a random reply feature into the chatbot, refreshing each new chat session through randomized messages, making it a unique experience each time.

The campaign amplification includes seeding YouTube Bumper Ad, Instagram Story Ad and Facebook content, all driving traffic to the chatbot.
